It's rare territory for sure. And any car that turns the rollers into the quadruple-digit domain is in a league all its own. This month we bring you four of them. With an average power output of 1,129 hp each, these are among the baddest Supras in the land.

They're so bad that we've had to readjust our perspective. Literally. For the first time ever we've scaled our dyno charts to fit page height (see "Slip Angle," pg. 20).

We would have needed a magazine three times as tall to fit the dyno chart of even the least powerful car in the group using our regular scale, which has been the same on every single dyno chart we've ever printed until this month. Sure, we've done other tricks in the past, like trimming a few hundred horsepower from the bottom of the chart on a 500-hp car. But at 1,000 or more hp, trimming half the chart doesn't leave any sense of scale.

To help put this much power in perspective, we've changed the aspect ratio (relationship between height and width) of each dyno chart and then threw in power and torque curves from our supercharged 350Z project car for comparison. Remember, Project Z is no slouch; it makes 333 hp and 295 lb-ft of torque, but when measured against the twisted world of mega-power Supras, its output is laughable.

These are some of the country's most powerful street cars and their owners are among the most power-corrupt car guys on the planet. Enjoy. - Josh Jacquot
